What is actually free

Free Sweeps Coins at sign-up, login and by mail

15 sweepstakes brands publish some form of free Sweeps Coins: at sign-up, once a day, or through a mail-in request. None of it needs a code, and every brand attaches its own conditions to it.

What no-deposit means at a sweepstakes casino

A sweepstakes casino runs two currencies side by side. Gold Coins are bought and cannot be redeemed for anything. Sweeps Coins are the prize currency, and every brand covered here states, in its own rules, that Sweeps Coins can also be collected for free. That second sentence is the whole of what “no deposit” means on this kind of site: a path to the prize currency that never asks for a card.

A sweepstakes has to offer a route to enter without paying — that is a matter of sweepstakes law, not marketing, and it is why the free routes below exist at all. This guide does not cover the law itself; that lives on one page, where sweepstakes casinos are banned. What follows is what each operator's own rules say it gives away, and on what terms.

Free Sweeps Coins at sign-up

A handful of brands print a specific sign-up allowance. Hello Millions' Sweepstakes Rules say a new account can receive up to 3.55 free Sweepstakes Coins across its first three days, tied to logging in each day (Sweepstakes Rules v1.3, dated 30 July 2024, read via a Wayback capture of 4 April 2025). Spree, which shares its rules format with Hello Millions, states the same figure and the same three-day structure in its own Sweepstakes Official Rules v1.8.1 of 16 December 2025 (read via a Wayback capture of 30 April 2026).

Most of the other documents we read describe a sign-up or first-login grant without printing a fixed amount: Zula Casino's Sweeps Rules list a sign-up credit alongside Facebook-connect, phone-verification and referral credits without a number attached to each (Sweeps Rules v2.6, 28 August 2026, read live 11 September 2026); Rolla's SC Game Rules describe a bonus tied to Gold Coin purchases and separate giveaway and referral mechanics without a sign-up figure (SC Game Rules v13.0, 14 July 2026, read live 11 September 2026). Where a document does not print a number, this guide leaves the cell blank rather than estimate one.

Daily login rewards, brand by brand

A recurring, once-a-day SC credit is the most common free mechanic in the documents we read. LuckyLand Slots, Chumba Casino and Global Poker each describe a “Daily Bonus” claimable once every 24 hours in their Sweeps Rules, all dated 13 July 2026 and read live on 11 September 2026; Global Poker's version additionally requires the account to be verified before the Daily Bonus unlocks (Sweeps Rules 3.2(c)(iii)). Stake.us calls its version a “Daily Login Bonus,” claimable once per day, in Terms and Conditions v18.0 of 10 July 2026 (read via a Wayback capture of 8 September 2026).

Modo.us describes a “Daily Logon Reward” that resets at midnight Eastern, without printing the SC amount (Sweepstakes Official Rules, last updated 29 May 2026, read live 11 September 2026). High 5 Casino's rules promise “a set number of free Sweeps Coins the first time You log into Your User Account each day” without stating the figure (Sweepstakes Official Rules v43.0, 26 June 2026, read via a Wayback capture of 5 September 2026). Fortune Wins and Zula Casino both tie their daily bonus to a floor: it is only paid when the account's SC balance sits below a threshold the rules do not quantify (Fortune Wins Sweepstakes Rules v4.7, 13 August 2026; Zula Sweeps Rules v2.6, 28 August 2026). Pulsz and McLuck's rules pages returned a sign-in wall and a 403 response respectively when we tried to read them, so neither brand's daily-bonus terms are read.

The mail-in alternative method of entry

Every sweepstakes brand that publishes a working rules document also publishes a postal route to Sweeps Coins, generally called an alternative method of entry. The mechanics repeat brand to brand: a handwritten request on a card of a stated size, sent from the address on the verified account, crediting a fixed number of SC per request. LuckyLand Slots, Chumba Casino and Global Poker moved this route online in their current rules — a handwritten card is photographed and uploaded rather than mailed, with a selfie check where the operator asks for one — and each credits 5 Sweeps Coins per valid request (Sweeps Rules, all v25.0–v31.0, 13 July 2026).

Stake.us, Zula Casino and RealPrize keep the postal version. Stake.us pays 5 Stake Cash for a 4-by-6-inch card or piece of white paper posted from the state on the verified account (Terms and Conditions v18.0, clause 8.3(a)). Zula Casino pays 5 Sweeps Coins for a mail code posted to its Thornhill, Ontario box (Sweeps Rules v2.6, clause 3.2.4). RealPrize pays just 1 Sweep Coin per written request, the smallest figure in the documents we read, credited within up to 20 days (Promotional Play Rules v2.8, clause 7.4). High 5 Casino, WOW Vegas, Rolla and Modo.us each pay 3 SC per mail-in card; Hello Millions and Spree each pay 4; Fortune Wins pays 500 FC, which its rules value at $5 (Sweepstakes Rules v4.7, clause 3.2.4). Funrize's current Alternative Method of Promotion Entry page offers a choice — one Promotional Entry or five free plays — for a handwritten card mailed to its Wyoming address, read live on 11 September 2026.

Pulsz and McLuck are not in this table. Pulsz's Sweepstakes Rules returned a sign-in wall and McLuck's returned a 403 response on every attempt we made, so neither brand's no-deposit mechanics are read.

Why no-deposit is built into the sweepstakes model

None of the fifteen brands above sell entry to their prize currency outright. Every set of rules we read frames Sweeps Coins as something a player is given — through play, through login, through the mail — alongside a separate, purchasable currency that carries no prize value at all. That split is the sweepstakes structure itself: Gold Coins fund the platform, Sweeps Coins are the sweepstakes, and a sweepstakes needs a no-cost door in. The free mechanics in the table above are that door, described in each operator's own words rather than in ours.

A “no-deposit bonus” at a sweepstakes casino looks nothing like one at a real-money site: there is no matched deposit, because there is no deposit for the free SC to match. What a reader compares, brand to brand, is how generous the daily login is, how cheap the mail-in request is, and how many SC a sign-up credits.

What free SC must go through before it can be redeemed

Free Sweeps Coins are not cash the moment they land in an account. Every playthrough figure in the table above sits between a player and redemption: LuckyLand Slots, Chumba Casino, Global Poker, Rolla and Legendz each require SC to be played through once, with the operator reserving the right to raise that to as much as 20 times; Stake.us sets its multiple at three times; Modo.us allows up to thirty. RealPrize matches the single-play standard. Fortune Wins prints no fixed multiple at all, leaving it to the operator's discretion.

Playthrough is only the first gate. Every document we read also ties redemption to a verified account, and several tie it to a minimum balance that is separate from the playthrough requirement — for a full brand-by-brand look at those minimums and what SC becomes once it clears them, see what sweepstakes casinos pay out and how. The two currencies themselves, and what each brand's rules say about their value and expiry, are covered on the Sweeps Coins explainer.

Checking a no-deposit offer before you claim it

Three questions are worth asking before claiming a free-SC offer. First, is the free SC itself redeemable, or only SC won through play — High 5 Casino's rules draw exactly that line, and it is easy to miss. Second, what does the mail-in route actually pay: the range above runs from 1 SC at RealPrize to 5 SC or Stake Cash elsewhere, for the same handwritten-card format. Third, does the daily bonus need a verified account first, as Global Poker's does — an unverified account may see fewer free routes than the rules describe for a verified one.

None of this requires a code. Every mechanic above is a standing feature of the brand's own rules, not a time-limited offer tied to a code, and this guide does not print or link any codes. A reader comparing brands on speed after they have SC to redeem can move on to the fastest sweepstakes casino redemptions or to the current list of sweepstakes casinos. For readers who came from other sweepstakes casino alternatives, the mechanics above are one more thing worth checking against a platforms full terms first.

Do sweepstakes casinos require a deposit to get Sweeps Coins
No. Every brand in this guide gives some Sweeps Coins away free, either at sign-up, once a day, or through a mail-in request, because a paid-only path to the prize currency would not meet the no-purchase-necessary requirement a sweepstakes has to offer.
What is the fastest way to get free Sweeps Coins
A daily login bonus is the fastest route the brands in this guide describe: it needs an account and, on some platforms, a verified one, but no mail and no purchase.
Can free Sweeps Coins be redeemed right away
No brand in this guide lets free SC convert to cash on arrival. Every set of rules we read requires the SC to be played through at least once, and most also require the account to be verified and to reach a minimum balance.
Do you need a code for free coins at a sweepstakes casino
The documents we read describe fixed free-coin mechanics — sign-up grants, daily logins, mail-in requests — not promotional codes, and this guide does not print or link any.
Why do sweepstakes casinos let players mail in a request for free coins
It is the alternative method of entry every brand here documents: a handwritten, postal route to Sweeps Coins that does not touch the purchase system at all.
Is a mail-in request slower than the free coins on the website
Processing is not timed the same way across brands. RealPrize states its mail-in credit can take up to 20 days; several other brands give no processing time for the mail route at all in the documents we read.
